This was a good quick read, not too long and not to short. The story line was solid. I'll be looking for more from Ms Clark.
This was a good novel that I enjoyed reading. There was lots of action and scares.
There were a few typos & grammatical errors but none too distracting.
For those who enjoy haunted house mysteries, I recommend this novel.
I really enjoy this author's work. I read the second & third books in the series and enjoyed them so much, I decided I needed to find out about Jesse & Gail's story. I'm very glad I read this book.
If you like books that are filled with mystery and ghost this is the perfect book. Each character is well written with unique personalities. There is intrigue from chapter 1 to the final chapter. This was my first Caroline Clarke book and it will not be my last.
This book did not seem like it was written by Caroline Clark. The lack of contractions granted on my nerves. The storyline wasn't written as smoothly ,it seemed to bump and lurch all over the place. In parts, it read like a "Dick and jane " learner. I'm used to over the top writings, but this one was so far over the top, It got lost in the clouds. I guess you can't expect an Author to always get it right. She gets enough of her books right, to keep me in her fan club!
